Welcome to our web site.

We are a group of local people in the Ribble Valley and Hyndburn area of the north of England
who took up African drumming purely as a hobby and have gone from strength to strength.

We meet on Monday evenings at the 'Sidings', (Station House Training Centre) Whalley
(Next to the Railway Station).
Click here for directions from their web site

(Not always up to date!)

We are keen to encourage new members and our taster session in September (2004)
fired the enthusiasm of 24 people to join our beginners class.

If you would like to try something new, exciting and different, come along and sit in
on the beginners classes, you just might like to join us.

NEWS... Back by popular demand, our return to Clitheroe on Easter Saturday for another street performance went well.
So good in fact that the event organisers have asked us to play at the Clitheroe great days festival on 4th of June,
so come along and see us, you can't miss us, we are not exactly quiet!!

Drum Jammin'... As an off-shoot to our group, a couple of renegades in the form of Simon and Kath
have organised a monthly "jam" session on the 2nd Saturday of the month in Clitheroe.
It is an informal gathering, a sharing of rhythms and skills, no experience necessary.
The first session on 9th April went well and the next is planned for 14th May
at the Trinity Youth Centre in Clitheroe from 6.30 - 8.30 pm! (£2.50 covers room hire with tea & biscuits!)
Everyone is welcome, bring a friend, bring a drum, bring percussion, bring YOURSELF!!!
